Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer is a very strong, light and expensive composite materials, commonly refer to as C.F.R.P. They are currently used worldwide to retrofit and repair structurally deficient infrastructures such as bridges and buildings. When reinforced concrete (RC) members are strengthened with externally bonded CFRP, the bond between the CFRP and RC substrate significantly increase the member’s load-carrying capacity.
